The site of Asbury Comicon 2014 with be the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel on April 12-13th. We're expanding to two days. Many great guests to be announced.

"Mr. Trimpe, reached by phone at his home in Hurley, N.Y., said he had accepted Mr. Galbraith’s invitation to Asbury Park because “the big shows are run by promoters and they don’t seem to care much about comics anymore.”
The Asbury Park show is being done “on a personal level,” Mr. Trimpe, 73, said, adding, “There’s a genuineness.”

Reilly Brown Returns toAsbury Park Comicon

Marvel's Reilly Brown's busy schedule has opened up and he'll be joining us after all. Originally too many commitments kept him from returning after his debut at Asbury Park Comicon 2, but he'll be appearing as a guest and joining the Marvel Days panel moderated by Christopher Irving.

Yes it's free parking the day of Asbury Park Comic! The meters will not officially be activated until April 1st. That means $10 more in your pocket to spend on comics!
J.G. Jones Cancels Do To Schedule Mishap

Here's the shortened version of J.G. Jones' message to us:
"Unfortunately. there is a conflict, after all. I had committed to a show in Europe, and will not be in the States on the 30th. I am terribly sorry for the oversight... I simply got swamped with work and travel, and did not realize our flight leaves on the 30th. If I can make this up to you in the future, I would certainly be delighted to do so. My apologies, again."
Yes, we'll miss him. But these things happen. Artists have many commitments, be it art deadlines or personal appearance. It can get hectic. We look forward to hosting him at another time.
Batman Producer Michael Uslan Confirmed For Asbury Con

The man who transformed Batman from the goofy 60's image of a pot-bellied Adam West to the formidable Dark Knight, returns to his his boyhood stomping grounds on the Asbury Park boardwalk at Convention Hall March 30th. Another product of the Jersey Shore joins the amazing line-up at Asbury Park Comicon. Uslan is a fascinating speaker and his story of a personal mission to restore his beloved Batman to respectability is an amazing tale.
Michael Uslan will be the keynote speaker at Asbury Park Comicon and will participate throughout the day on panels and sign autogarphs.
